Terence Jarrett Snr. - Founded Jartena Apartments Limited in 1982 while employed to Jamaica Broilers Limited as Group Financial Director until 1988. He later formed Jartena Car Rentals and Jartena Hireage Service (Party Rentals). He established Jartena Apartments Limited as the vehicle to acquire the property at 1 Altamont Terrace, which was then a 12-unit apartment building. He conceptualized the idea of developing the property at Altamont Terrace into the "best little hotel" in the world and implemented the tag line "Home in the Hub", which is now the hotel's value proposition.
Terence was nominated in 2006 as the Jamaica Observer Business Leader and later in 2008, along with his family, was nominated in the Jamaica Observer Awards "Family in Business" category. He spearheaded the transformation and transition from 12-unit apartment to a certified 18-room hotel and remained at the helm in guiding its general management unto further growth and expansion to 36 then to 58 rooms. In 2005 under his leadership, the company acquired Belvedere Hotel in Montego Bay (now Altamont West). In 2010 the Government of Jamaica awarded hm the Order of Distiction (OD) in recognition of his unwavering contribution to the Tourism sector over the years.

Ena Jarrett. - Joined the company in 1982 upon its formation after leaving her job as secretary in the Department of Pharmrcology at the University of the West Indies, Mona. During the early development and growth of the business, she performed a multi-faceted role as General Manager, Property Manager, Laundry and Housekeeping Manager and Food & Beverage Manager.

Christopher Jarrett. - Joined in 1996 as manager of Jartena Hireage Service (subsequently sold in 1999). He then assumed the role of Food and Beverage Manager as well as Proprerty Manager at Altamont Court Hotel. Prior to joining the company he completed an undergraduate degree at New York Institute of Technology and later, a Masters Degree at Nova University. He serves as council member of the Kingston Chapter of the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association. He is a Director of the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce (Hon. Secretary). He was Food and Beverage Manager until 2006 when he was appointed to the position of Operations Manager. He was appointed General Manager in 2012.

Terence "Tony" Jarrett Jnr.
Terence Tony Jarrett Jnr. - Studied Business Administration at Miami Dade Community College. He was very active in the startup of the company. Tony migrated in 1989 and returned to full employment ten years later. He was involved in creating a working structure and assisted in managing the transition of the company's business model from apartments to hotel.

Richard Jarrett - Joined the company in 1992. He is responsible for the management of computer systems and electronic systems upgrades as well as payroll and Employee Benefits. He is deacon at Maverly Gospel Hall, Chairperson of Youth Camp Ministry, Assistant Chairperson of Western Bible Camp. He holds a Bachelors Degree from Jamaica Theological Seminary.
