Altamont West was established in 2006. On the Hip Strip of Montego Bay, Altamont West Hotel is a small, 31 room Boutique Hotel set in a shopping/beach area of Montego Bay and gives access to all of what Montego Bay has to offer within a few minutes walk. Be sure to visit the Harmony Beach Park reachable on foot. Enjoy an outdoor child friendly swimming pool, massage treatments and a spa centre on property. The venue is literally less than 10 minutes walk from the city centre.
Approximately a 10-minute walk separates guests from The world famous Doctors Cave Beach or markets, shops, malls, and banking. The accommodation is only a 1 hour drive to Negril.
Each room at Altamont West is fully air-conditioned, elegantly appointed, and fitted with modern amenities such as, cable television, USB charging ports, mini-fridge, microwave, a phone equipped with voicemail system, coffee and tea-making facilities, iron and ironing board, coffee / tea with kettle, electronic safe and climate control, while the bathrooms come with free toiletries and a hair dryer.
Begin the day with a sumptuous Jamaican or Continental breakfast. The Ocean Bay Bar offers a selection of sake and refreshing drinks. An array of activities such as golf, cycling, Zip lining, Catamaran Cruises and mountain biking is offered in the area.
Rooms are fitted with either two double beds (Standard or Superior Double), three double beds (Junior Suites), or 1 king size bed (Standard Superior King or Luxury King and Suites).
Hotel 39, with 81 rooms, and also located along the Hip Strip, as well as The Altamont Court Hotel in New Kingston, Jamaica, are both sister properties to Altamont West.
Taxes: There is, in addition to the GCT (General Consumption Tax of 10%), a 10 % Gratutuity, and $1 per day (GART - Guest Accommodation Room Tax) charge.
